More arrests have been made in connection with three Alderney burglaries.
Three people have been arrested in the last fortnight, bringing the total number of arrests to ten.
Sergeant Colin Solway said: "Three more people have been arrested. Of the ten people arrested some have been eliminated from our enquiries.
"I expect some people will be processed through the system; there may be grounds to caution some of them. It is not clear at the moment whether there will be any court appearances."
The burglaries took place between May 27 and June 5. Nobody has yet been charged in relation to the incidents, which saw 40 cans of beer stolen from Alderney Football Club, almost £1,000 in cash and 500 cigarettes taken from The Moorings and a moped stolen from a garage in La Vallee. The moped had its mud guard damaged before being recovered.
Sgt Solway said investigations into the burglaries are ongoing and that anyone with information should contact Alderney Police on 01481 824999 or call Crimestoppers, in confidence, on 0800 555111.
