Full church for Timmie Main send off

Posted Mon 20th October 2014 at 12:18

Around 400 people packed into St Anne's Church to celebrate the life of local man Timmy Main.

The funeral service, held on Wednesday 15th October at St Anne's Church, was led by Rt Rev Bishop Nicholas Reade and Deacon Stephen Richardson.

It was standing room only at the service - testament, said Guernsey-born Bishop Reade, to the real affection in which he was held by so many people. The youngest of five boys, and part of two very large local families on both his mother Cath and father Richard's side, Mr Main had lived in Alderney all of his life.
