Nominations deadline announce for elections

THE deadline for nominations for an up-coming Alderney by-election is expected to be March 31st.

The election, to be held on April 12th at the Island Hall, is being held to fill the term of office left by States Member Paul Arditti, who died suddenly on January 20th.

Nominations must be received between Monday 24th March and 4pm on Monday 31st March. The successful candidate will hold office until 31st December 2014, subject to voting arrangements being passed at the March States Meeting.
