Property agent passes on Tourgis

Posted Wed 27th March 2013 at 15:25

International property agent Knight Frank has turned down the opportunity to advise on options for the disposal of Alderney's Fort Tourgis.

The Policy Committee resolved in January to ask London-based Knight Frank to advise on viable development for the Victorian fort. The decision came after Dutch architects firm Verweij en Partners, who held the option to develop Tourgis into a hotel and conference centre for several years, filed for bankruptcy last year.

Estate agents Savills are now considering a commission to advise on the matter.
