Two more cars stolen

Posted Mon 6th June 2011 at 11:20

Police are appealing for witnesses after two cars were stolen in Alderney.

A white Nissan Micra was taken from Fontaine David some time between 7.30pm on Thursday (June 2) and 1pm the following day.

On Friday (June 3), between 7.40pm and 11.10pm, a silver Skodia Fabia was taken from a property close to Les Butes.

A police spokesman said: "We would once again like to remind residents about the dangers of leaving their vehicles insecure with the ignition keys in the vehicle."

Last week a green Rover Metro was stolen from Crabby before being tipped over a cliff in the Giffoine area. It is not known whether the three incidents are related.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Alderney Police on 824999.
