Drive slowly in St Anne today

Posted Thu 25th March 2010 at 12:44

Drivers are being urged to take care in the Rocquettes area of Victoria Street today.

Workmen will be making the final connections to the new water main in St Anne and drivers are asked to go slowly as the road will be passable with care.

States engineer Julie Turner said: "Drivers are asked to be aware of roadworks and pedestrians in the confined area during today's work."

Ms Turner also said that trenches in Le Val will be concreted by the end of this week, while permanent tarmac topping will be placed during Ronez's visit in April/May.

Ms Turner added: "Apologies for the disruption of the past few months during the water main replacement. Your co-operation is much appreciated."
